Every year we review categories in each of the disciplines (music, visual arts, and performing arts). This year our Board of Directors has determined that there are three additional music categories needed to better represent the evolving scene. Best Punk and Best Metal have been added, and Best R&B/Soul has been separated into two different categories. Previously, Best Punk and Best Metal were included under Best Hard Rock.
